Aquilion Serve CT Scanner

Multi-slice CT scanner for general radiology built around the INSTINX workflow, with built-in cameras, automatic scan planning by anatomical landmark detection and AiCE deep learning reconstruction. It has an 80-row 0.5 mm PUREViSION detector, 0.5 second rotation (0.35 second optional), a 50.4 kW generator and an 80 cm gantry bore. The 47 cm wide couch holds 315 kg and offers a 17 cm tech-assist lateral slide, and the system needs a minimum of 14.8 square metres. Canon states the redesigned workflow cuts steps by up to 40 percent compared with earlier models.
