Fully automated open dental 3D desktop scanner with a turntable for one-click scanning of models and impressions, using blue-light area-array structured light with double-sided grating scanning. Accuracy is better than 0.010 mm, a full jaw scans in 12 seconds, upper or lower jaw in 20 seconds and an impression model in 2 minutes, with a 100 x 100 x 75 mm scan range and a 1.3 megapixel camera. It is supplied without CAD software, works with open CAD packages (optionally bundled with exocad), measures 256 x 385 x 240 mm and weighs 7 kg.
